Guest Policies
To help every visitor enjoy a safe, relaxing, and memorable stay, we’ve put together a few simple guidelines for our property. With three waterfront cabins available to rent, access to boats and kayaks, two sandy beaches, and miles of scenic hiking and mountain biking trails, our grounds offer plenty to explore. These guest policies ensure that all amenities are used responsibly and that the natural beauty of the area is preserved for everyone to enjoy.
Booking
We require a 50% deposit upon booking. The deposit is only refundable if you cancel your stay 30 days or more before your arrival date. Deposits can be made via check, Internet money transfer, or PayPal. Please pay the remainder upon arrival.
Cleaning up
We work hard to ensure the cottages are always clean and well maintained. Guests are responsible for leaving the cottages as clean as they find them when they arrive.
No glass, no littering
When bringing drinks, please ensure they are cans or plastic bottles. No glass. Please ensure no litter is left behind, cigarette butts included.
Be considerate with garbage and recycling
Garbage and recycling are removed by boat or by car. Please be considerate, as cleaning out a messy trunk is no fun. Please also consider that plastic cutlery can make holes in bags.
Watch your kids
Please ensure all children have properly-fitting life jackets before going on the water. Please do not allow any children near the water unattended
Fire safety
Ask Cam before lighting any fires. No exceptions.
Emergency numbers are your responsiblity
Emergency phone numbers and coordinates are posted on all fridges in cabins. Please save these.
Be conscientious
Please don't waste water or leave lights on.
Pets
Pets are welcome at a charge of $35/pet/night. Please do not feed our dogs.
Day visitors
Day visitors or overnighters are welcome, provided there is enough room, at an extra charge. Please speak with Cam to organize.
